I was first introduced/referred to Trevor from WOC by a mutual friend of ours. I watched the most recent YouTube video... of his new stock arrival and messaged the fish I wanted, he got back to me right away. He was very patient and explained the compatibility and what species go with one another and some won’t color up right away but will take time. He also was very straightforward in suggesting if a species was incompatible, which I thought was very professional and honest! Sometimes I had to watch the video maybe 3 or 4 times and went back and added some more fish that I was interested in! The boxes were sent via air cargo which was a first for me, they were shipped in the morning and by the afternoon, they were already in my possession! It was 2 big boxes, heavy and when I got home and unboxed them, I was blown away by the packaging and bagging of each fish. Each fish was triple bagged and shrink wrapped and there’s wasn’t even a drop out of water! Heat packs were still warm and are still warm even when I’m writing this! The fish were simply gorgeous and displayed color in the bag! Overall I had a very positive first experience with Trevor and if you’re looking to buy fish from WOC, I’d say don’t hesitate and go for it. Live Fish Order Review This morning I received my first order WoC. I set Trevor a message on the 19th about some... Lwanda females I was wanting for a breeding program. He got back to me within the hour and had exactly what I was looking for. His first day of shipping would be the 26th and we agreed on a quantity and shipping choice which was UPS. I got notice that the label was created yesterday just before 2pm and the box was in the hands of UPS at 4pm. Tracking was great and I could even monitor the location of the truck as soon as it left the hub at 9:15am. At 9:45am the package was in my hand in perfect condition. Everything was very neatly packaged and each fish was double and triple bagged. The bags were tight and full of air not limp like you typically find when you get home most fish shops. All the fish appeared healthy and were active. One bag was marked holding, however the female had spit out her eggs and there were only three left in the bag. We put these in a tumbler and see if we get lucky. Overall I am extremely please and would not hesitate to order again. This was my first live shipment. I have a very good local shop so the need to order had not presented itself until now. Thank you Trevor for a really good experience.read more

This is the best cichlid store in the New England area. PERIOD. Buy his fish. I have dealt with other local retailers... and they simply do not compare. He ships all over the US at reasonable rates. I chose to visit the store and the place was like a clean room. All of his breeder fish are wild caight, F1, etc and have extremely high quality genetics. His 2" juveniles look better than most fully grown fish. He is not in it for the money. He only sends out the best of the best fish. He will actually refuse to sell anything that isnt grade A. You are in good hands when ordering sight unseen from Trevor. Not only is the store nice, but the guy running it is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Trevor is a great guy both in the fish room and out of it. He invited me and my girlfriend up for pizza and made us feel at home while we were there to pick up fish. While he was at it, he also showed off his professional parenting skills too. That was probably the most impressive part of the trip. Someone needs to get this guy a warehouse to set up in. If he had the chance, with his skills he could easily be the top US cichlid breeder/retailer.read more
